Quarry Days is an annual community festival celebrating Sandstone, Minnesota's rich history and local traditions. For the 2026 event, I partnered with the Quarry Days Festival Committee to create a new logo centered around the year's theme: honoring The Rock and America's 250th anniversary. The final design features a custom illustrated quarry worker in a modern mascot style, paired with a simplified illustration of the historic school to celebrate Sandstone's heritage. Designed as a flexible visual identity, the quarry worker can remain a recognizable symbol for years to come while the surrounding elements evolve to reflect future festival themes. This project included concept development, custom illustration, logo design, and typography.
